What is 2in1 technology?
Our 2in1 technology is used in all Combi and CombiNeo heaters – combining a heater and hot water boiler in one device. In summer mode, the heaters operate solely as hot water generators – ideal for showering or washing dishes. The water is heated in a robust stainless steel tank, using the same heat that keeps the interior comfortably warm in winter.
One system – two functions – complete flexibility.
Heat Hybrid – optional, but not retrofittable
Every Combi heater can be equipped with our Heat Hybrid technology. Models with Heat Hybrid are marked with ‘E’, for example “Combi D 6 E”. This is our Combi diesel heater (D) with an output of up to 6,000 watts (6) in pure diesel mode and electric option (E).
Heat Hybrid gives you the option of heating with electrical power (230 V) or with conventional gas or diesel fuels. This works via additional built-in electric heating elements, which cannot be retrofitted.
Heat Hybrid lets you decide at any time whether to heat purely electrically or to combine electrical power with gas or diesel for a higher overall heating output. This gives you flexibility when travelling, and lets you benefit from electrical heating options at campsites – if they offer all-inclusive electricity, for example.
In addition to other advantages such as lower fossil fuel consumption, you also enjoy greater safety, because Heat Hybrid provides a practical backup energy source if your gas cylinder runs out.
