The Truma electric water heater can be installed quickly and easily.
The Truma electric water heater heats the water in your caravan or motor home quickly and keeps it hot for a long time. This allows you to wash your hands thoroughly, wash dishes and even take a long shower at any time: the high quality stainless steel container with extra-large capacity makes this possible. The Truma electric boiler consumes little electricity and operates almost silently.
The boiler is insulated with a special expanded polypropylene (EPP) foam. This lightweight material has optimum thermal insulation properties. The water temperature drops by just 1°C per hour and reheating takes next to no time, despite the size of the water tank. The stainless steel container and all other materials that come into contact with water are safe for use with drinking water.

May Truma water systems be installed in mobile homes?
The intended use can be found in the respective operating instructions for the appliance. In principle, our appliances are approved for installation in caravans (vehicle class O) and mobile homes (vehicle class M1). If vehicle class O is available for the mobile home and the installations comply with the applicable standards (e.g. gas installation in accordance with DIN EN 1949), a Truma appliance can be installed. Usually, mobile homes do not have road approval, so new installations of our units are not permitted.
Does the Truma Boiler electric need to be sterilised and descaled?
The Boiler electric should be sterilised and descaled regularly. All cleaning products from camping specialists are suitable for cleaning, sterilisation and care. Commercial descaling products, vinegar essence or citric acid can be used to descale the Boiler. Fill the water container with cleaning or descaling products in the correct mixing ratio via the water inlet and allow them to work. Then rinse the water container thoroughly with clean water. To prevent colonisation by microorganisms, the Boiler must be heated up to 70 °C at regular distances.
How do I empty the Truma electric boiler properly?
If the caravan is not being used during the frost period, the Truma electric boiler must be drained.
