The Truma VarioHeat is a compact, efficient RV furnace that makes four-season camping possible. We know a furnace on the fritz can put a real damper on a camping trip, especially in colder climates. Don’t let these common but easy-to-solve error codes ruin your trip!

- E 2 H, E 16 H (Flame not detected/Gas cylinder or quick-acting valve in the gas supply line closed/butane concentration in gas cylinder too high/combustion air infeed or exhaust gas outlet closed)
- What it means: This error will occur if the Truma VarioHeat is not detecting a flame, is not getting enough fuel, or is not getting enough air.
- How to Troubleshoot: First, make sure you have an adequate amount of propane. The Truma VarioHeat can only use propane for fuel. Second, make sure the propane tank and the gas infeed valves are open. Then, check to make sure the air intake/gas exhaust outlet on the outside of the RV is free of blockages.
- W 27 H (warm air outlets blocked circulated air intake blocked EN end outlet closed)
- What it means: This error occurs when the circulated air intake or the warm air outlet is blocked.
- How to Troubleshoot: Check all outlet and intake openings and clear any blockages.
- W 255 H (Furnace has no 12 V DC power supply/No connection between furnace and control panel)
- What it means: This error will occur if the Truma VarioHeat does not have 12 V DC power or the Truma VarioHeat and Truma CP plus are no longer connected.
- How to Troubleshoot: First, check your 12 volt DC connection and power supply. Next, make sure the Truma VarioHeat is connected to the control panel.
- W 29 H (imminent undervoltage, battery voltage too low <10.4 V)
- What it means: This error occurs when the battery voltage falls below 10.4 volts.
How to Troubleshoot: First, try charging the battery. If the battery is old or otherwise unable to hold a charge, the battery will need to be replaced.
