Yes, to be able to shower endlessly, the water flow rate must not exceed 3.5 litres per minute. Endless showering is possible in gas and hybrid modes with a temperature difference ≤ 25°C (e.g. tank 13°C – shower temperature 38°C) after 8 minutes of heating time.

Yes, the interior air and water heating functions can be used independently of each other with both the CombiNeo and Combi heaters. Hot water mode can be activated via the iNet X operator panel or the associated app. This means only water is heated.

We generally recommend cleaning and descaling once a year. The operator panel and the iNet X App automatically display when descaling is required and which steps need to be taken. This ensures that your device always functions optimally. Regardless of the automatic display, you can start descaling at any time via the panel.

Like all Combi heaters, the CombiNeo features multiple protective mechanisms that reliably prevent frost damage. Truma’s FrostControl drain valve automatically activates if there is a risk of frost (at approx. +3°C) or overpressure and drains the heater. The water is safely drained to the outside via a discharge nozzle.

As soon as the ambient temperature rises again to around +7°C, the valve can be closed manually and the water container refilled. For extended absences, we recommend draining the water as a precaution against frost damage.

The CombiNeo can be conveniently controlled by the Truma iNet X operator panel as well as via the associated Truma iNet X App. The optional Truma iNet X Connect far-field module lets you turn up your vehicle’s heater even while on the go, e.g. directly from the ski slopes. The CombiNeo cannot be operated with the CP plus.

Yes, heating while the vehicle is in motion is possible with all Truma gas heaters. For heating while driving, Directive UN ECE R 122 for motor homes and caravans specifies a safety shut-off device. Truma’s gas pressure regulators fulfil this requirement. Throughout Europe, type-tested liquid gas heater may be used while driving (according to Directive UN ECE R 122) if the system has such a gas pressure regulator with a suitably configured gas installation. National regulations and rules must be followed.

The CombiNeo makes hot water available for hand washing or washing up after just 3 minutes. After 8 minutes, the water is hot enough for endless* showers. Thanks to the innovative instantaneous water heater principle with heat exchanger and intelligent layering in the 5.6-litre water container, the CombiNeo can provide hot water particularly quickly without having to heat up the entire tank.

Operation using the Truma iNet X System is very similar for both the Combi and CombiNeo heaters. However, the CombiNeo offers practical and convenient additional functions such as shower mode, two individually configurable operation modes (‘Away’ and ‘Night’) and a way to flexibly adjust the fan speed in comfort mode.

The CombiNeo cannot be operated with the CP plus.
