Every single camping trip I’ve ever taken, I forget to pack something. It doesn’t matter how long I plan, how many times I go over my list, or how often I check the camper cupboards and drawers; something is left sitting on the garage floor when I pull out.
In all fairness to the great outdoors, my inability to pack is not limited to camping. Every vacation I take starts with a run to the store for the items that didn’t make it into my suitcase. The difference with forgetting things on a camping trip is there is never a store within miles of the campsite.
I realized that I couldn’t be the only one who suffers from an acute packing handicap, so I did a little internet research, and as expected, I’m not alone!
Not only am I not alone, but the rest of you forget the same ridiculous things as me. So, for all of you who suffer from packing-itis, here is a list of the 15 most common items (in no order) that never make it into the camper.
Keep this list with you as a constant reminder and never forget; You are not alone!
