TOP100 Innovation Award 2021
Truma has been honored with the TOP100 Innovation Award for the fifth time in a row. The company is once again ranked among the hundred most innovative SMEs in Germany. The prize awards Truma’s excellent approach to innovation management. 120 different criteria were evaluated in the process: Does senior management promote new ideas and approaches? How does the company demonstrate a culture of innovation? How do they pursue innovation processes? The Vienna University of Economics determined Germany’s 100 most innovative companies from around 400 participants based on these aspects.
“As an organization, we are very well positioned to develop systems and solutions fit for the future. We are making greater use of data, working in line with agile methods and including our customers from the word go. What’s more, our new Innovation Lab nexT is certainly lending its expertise, explains Alexander Wottrich, CEO of the Truma Group.
European Innovation Award 2021
The European Innovation Award 2021 underlines Truma’s innovative strength. The prize was awarded by DoldeMedien Verlag and the editors of 17 European RV magazines. The new Truma Cooler portable fridges/freezers convinced the jury in the camping accessories category. Moreover, the family-owned company received the prize for the “Social Vision Concept” category. This award recognizes Truma’s special social commitment. The company has been supporting social organizations and projects in Munich and the surrounding areas for many years – including through its own Truma Foundation Renate Schimmer-Wottrich.
