How does the Truma Combi 6 E work in gas / electrical mode and why are there two levels?

Mixed mode of your Combi 6 E heater works like this:

On the power selector switch you can select mixed mode 1 or 2.

  • Mixed mode 1 means 900 W electric mode with gas
  • Mixed mode 2 means 1800 W electric mode with gas

In both variants, mixed mode 1 or 2, an electric priority circuit is active. Gas mode is also activated depending on power requirements.
