The combination of the Saphir vario and the TG 1000 sinus power inverter is an unbeatable team for your comfort on the move.



Travelling comfort that is more convenient and independent – the new Saphir vario combines all of the benefits in order to provide individual cooling in a motor home

  • The special EPP plastic housing provides extremely quiet operation and a light weight of just 27 kg
  • Thanks to its low structural height of just 20 cm, the Saphir vario is ideal for installation in false floors or the interior of mobile homes or caravans.
  • Installation in the floor area provides a lower centre of gravity, meaning that there is no weight on the roof, and the roof window is retained
Three power settings provide individual cooling:
  • 600 W – quiet running for undisturbed sleep
  • 1500 W – on the move for a pleasant journey and on camp sites with weak fuse protection
  • 2000 W – powerful for rapid cooling
The additional benefits:
  • The 3 or more separately controllable air diffusers provide individual cold air distribution
  • Installation in the vehicle interior leaves the outer vehicle dimensions unchanged
  • The standard pollen and dust filter makes the Saphir vario ideal for people with allergies
  • The compressor unit provides high cooling power, even with high humidity
  • The closed cooling circuit makes the system completely maintenance-free


Cooling with 3 variable power settings for optimum
comfort – with 12 V* or 230 V

  • The Saphir vario can be operated using the 230 V mains power supply or the 12 V on-board battery / alternator (in combination with the TG 1000 sinus power inverter).
  • The optionally available, innovative Truma TG 1000 sinus power inverter makes the Saphir vario independent of the 230 V mains power supply.
  • Your advantage: the system automatically detects whether 12 V or 230 V is present.
Cooling with 12 V* while driving:
  • Comfortable ventilation
  • 600 W – via the vehicle battery or the alternator
  • 1500 W – via the alternator
Cooling in battery mode with 12 V*:
  • Comfortable ventilation
  • 600 W – the smallest power setting
Cooling with mains operation with 230 V:
  • Comfortable ventilation
  • 600 W – the smallest power setting for quiet cooling overnight – for undisturbed sleep
  • 1500 W – the ideal power setting for camp sites with weak fuse protection – just 3 A required
  • 2000 W – highest setting for full cooling power
*(only in combination with the Truma TG 1000 sinus power inverter)
