Truma has therefore complied with the wishes of customers who prefer to spend their holidays in Scandinavian countries or countries with fixed power rates on their camp sites.
There are three ways of heating the camper with the new Trumatic C 6002 EH: Either with gas, electricity or both at the same time. For independent use, gas-only operation produces heating power of up to 6000 W, and two integrated 900 W heating elements generate comfortable warmth in the camper in electric mode. Combined operation produces even more heating power. In this case the output is increased from 6000 W to 7800 W, which heats up the vehicle considerably faster.
Gas-only, electricity-only or combined operation (gas and electricity) can be selected using an additional control facility (power selector switch). In combined winter mode preference is given to electric heating, i.e. the gas burner does not come on until more output is required, and is the first to switch off when the required temperature is reached. Combined operation is not possible in summer mode. Like its tried and tested Trumatic C 6002 predecessor, the Trumatic C 6002 EH heater can also be used unrestrictedly without water. All other functions are unchanged.
The minimum installation space requirements are the same as the
Trumatic C 6002 heater. All that needs to be taken into consideration is a second PCB housing on the outside of the tank.
The Trumatic C 6002 EH can also be operated using a timer (available on request).
The new Trumatic C 6002 EH model will be exhibited at Caravan Salon 2004 in Düsseldorf, and is now available from specialist dealers.
