Start of Combi D series production

Just 8 months after the announcement of the joint development project between Truma Gerätetechnik GmbH & Co. KG and J. Eberspächer GmbH & Co. KG, the diesel burner technology leader, the two development partners have now started series production of the new Combi D motor home heater.

This diesel heater, which has been specially developed for motor homes, fits into the same installation space as the Combi gas heater, which looks almost identical from the outside. Protected from the effects of the environment, the unit can be installed in any vehicle because of its compact dimensions, and provides both heating and hot water.

A prototype was introduced to the specialist press at Caravan Salon 2007 in Düsseldorf. The new Combi D motor home heater is a new addition to Truma's range of heaters that is intended for customers who require diesel as the fuel because of special usage situations.
