Campers who do not heat while driving and would like to replace their existing gas-pressure regulator with a new one now have the opportunity to easily retrofit a two-cylinder system with the new DuoControl changeover regulator.
The combination integrates the gas pressure regulator and changeover valve into a single unit. It supplies gas in correspondence with current technical requirements and with the highest possible peace of mind. It keeps a constant pressure in the system regardless of how many consumers are currently operating.
Note: If a vehicle is initially registered in 2007 or later, heating while using DuoControl is permitted only when the vehicle is not moving.
DuoControl is easy to operate and can be used in all of Europe when equipped with the relevant country-specific high-pressure hoses. A visual indicator that tells whether the system has already switched over to the reserve cylinder makes it even more convenient to use the automatic changeover function for switching from the empty to the full gas cylinder. A side-mounted test connection makes it easier for the service technician to check the gas.
Extensive accessories, such as defroster ice-ex 12 V for preventing freezing of the regulator in cold weather; or the remote indicator, which shows the current state of the gas supply from inside the vehicle, further add to the comfort in the caravan or motor home.
DuoControl is available immediately at well-stocked stores in 30 or 50-mbar versions and for 8 or 10-mm gas outlet connections.

In 2007 new laws will go into effect requiring special precautions when operating a liquid gas heater while driving. If you wish to operate your heating system while driving, you must use a gas pressure regulator like the proven SecuMotion for protection in case of an accident, for example. These devices are usually already present in new vehicles but can also be retrofitted to previously-owned or older vehicles without any difficulty. Automatic changeover valve DuoComfort is the ideal complement to SecuMotion. It prevents interruption of the gas supply when switching from the operating to the reserve cylinder.
