Cooling can be so efficient
Aventa eco rounds off the Truma rooftop air conditioning system range
High cooling output, lower power consumption – the new Truma rooftop air conditioning system Aventa eco stands out thanks to its excellent efficiency. The 1,700 Watt ensure fast cooling and dehumidification whilst only needing a mere 2.8 A of current. "The Aventa eco is therefore perfect for camping sites with low fuse capacities," explains product manager Simone Sassmannshausen.
High cooling output and even air distribution
The new rooftop air conditioning system stays true to the modern design and the proven functionality of the Aventa comfort. Truma has also incorporated the clever air distributor system in the Aventa eco. "At the highest level, the Aventa eco blows 340 m³/h of cool air into the vehicle; the air can be individually directed via the four separate adjustable outlets," says Sassmannshausen. "The air flow can be dosed between the front and the rear part of the vehicle and can be steered from the ceiling to the floor." This ensures that the air is mixed well and that the vehicle is cooled evenly and quickly. Thanks to its high cooling output, the Aventa eco brings a medium-sized vehicle of up to six metres in length to the required temperature quickly and easily.
Extremely light weight
The weight of the new rooftop air conditioning unit from Truma is a further advantage: At just 28 kg, the Aventa eco is the lightest in its class. "One special point of focus during the development phase was to ensure that the new device was extremely light."
Flattest air distributor, large passage clearance
Like its predecessor, the Aventa eco is also extremely quiet. "We optimised the air distributor design to ensure a very quiet cooling process," says Sassmannshausen. The integrated sleep function also reduces the noise level outside. A further advantage is the low height of the air distributor: At just 46 mm, it is the flattest on the market and allows a large passage clearance. Also, the rounded and attractive design is found both outside and inside the Aventa eco.
The air distributor has a dimmable LED atmosphere lighting system and is available in cream and grey to match the interior. Thanks to its electrostatically charged filter system, it also cleans the air inside the vehicle.
Simple installation thanks to tight seal
The Aventa eco can be installed extremely quickly and simply using the Truma tight seal that is suitable for roof thicknesses from 25 to 110 mm. There are often holes outside the actual roof opening (400 x 400 mm) that need to be sealed in a complex process, especially in the case of roof cut-outs which previously held skylights. This is where the tight seal comes into its own. It securely covers openings of up to 460 mm x 460 mm and guarantees a permanent seal to the interior.
The Aventa eco, which will be available in the shops in March 2012, rounds off the rooftop air conditioning system range from Truma. It cleverly combines a high cooling output with a low power consumption and extremely light weight.
